Nicholson Nel Quantity Surveyors is a small quantity surveying firm based in Cape Town.

The company offers a comprehensive range of professional property consulting services, designed to facilitate efficient project completion from inception, through turnkey Quantity Surveying services and expert knowledge and understanding of commercial financial investments. Integrated personal approach and focus on team work with all contractors on site ensure a smooth flow of activities from start to finish.

In addition, Nicholson Nel offers specific select services focused on the individual requirement of our Clients, inter-alia initial financial feasibility, overall project evaluation and buildability.

Understanding Property Development takes the understanding of the property market, understanding the offering and understanding the people.

We are a knowledgeable and dynamic team using the latest technology to deliver accurate, detailed Project Viabilities and Construction Estimates. Processes ensure that the plan is executed according to program. Using our in-depth knowledge of the building contract to safeguard our client and provide a fair agreement between client and contractor.

We assist existing clients with reinstatement valuations of properties for correct insurance values, and base cost estimations for Capital Gains Tax valuations.

BROAD-BASED BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

Nicholson Nel Quantity Surveyors is currently Level 3 BBBEE compliant.

The firm supports the principals of black empowerment and to this end we:

1. Employ people from previously disadvantaged communities and promote them to more senior positions where applicable.

2. Have previously offered bursaries to aspirant Quantity Surveyors from previously disadvantaged communities at the University of Cape Town and the Cape Technikon.

3. Assist with training of staff and students to further their careers.
